Julia Nicole is a spunky, charming little girl who loves life. On November 11th, Julia will be undergoing heart surgery to repair an ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) or "big ol hole in her heart." Throughout the preparation process, Julia has shown her usual spirit and positive attitude, making lemonade out of lemons!
"Hypothetically, Mom, if a kid's having open heart surgery, what kind of Christmas present should she expect this year?"
Her family, including Mommy, Daddy, Big Brother Taylor, Granny and Omi (her grandmothers), will be traveling with her to Dallas as she has this surgery at Children's Medical Center. We feel very privileged to have Joseph Forbess, MD as her surgeon and Alan Nugent, MD as her long-time cardiologist.
